There’s a problem that many couples deal with and are often too embarrassed to talk about, even with their closest friends. It’s called impotence, the inability to “get it up”, or Erectile Dysfunction (ED). No matter how you refer to it, these terms are used to describe when a man has trouble getting or keeping an erection long enough to complete sexual intercourse through orgasm.
Many couples are able to find intimacy even when dealing with ED. However, if you're trying to conceive this can prove challenging.
Often ED can be associated with temporary emotional or mental stress and many men are able to overcome this on their own.
For many men, the pressures of trying to conceive can actually cause them to experience Erectile Dysfunction. This is commonly referred to as "performance anxiety". And guess what fellas? It happens to a lot of men!
Men who find themselves struggling to perform on command as is often required when trying to conceive can experience this type of "performance anxiety". Ironically, many of these men are able to complete to orgasm through masturbation. When by themselves the pressure to "perform" is removed and the ability to achieve an orgasm is restored.
If this is possible for you, then home insemination might just be a great option for you to consider. Inseminating at home is possible for many men who suffer from performance anxiety based erectile dysfunction.
