Marea Goodman, LM, CPM

Marea Goodman, LM, CPM

Marea Goodman, LM, CPM (they/she) is a licensed midwife specializing in caring for the LGBTQ+ community from pre-conception into the first year of parenting. A graduate of the National Midwifery Institute, Marea has been licensed by the California Medical Board since 2015 and is now serving the community in Santa Cruz, CA for homebirth and at-home IUI.

Marea is also the founder of the PregnantTogether Community, a vibrant online community supporting queer folks and allies through TTC (trying to conceive) and pregnancy.

Aside from midwifery, Marea is a writer whose work has been featured by the Huffington Post, Ms Magazine, and Mother.ly, and is the co-author of the book, Baby Making for Everybody—Fertility and Family Building for LGBTQ+ and Solo Parents (touted as the What to Except When You're Expecting for non-traditional families).

What they are most proud of is getting to be "mommy" to her three amazing kids.
