Mamas Conceive After Health Scare and Sperm Sourcing Challenges

My wife and I finally decided to start trying for a baby in December 2019. We found a donor and had the frozen sperm sent to us. Super expensive $870. In January we found an app that has donors. We located a donor we thought would be good, met with him and tried again. In February my wife was diagnosed with cancer and had to have emergency surgery. We tried in March with the same donor but we weren't really feeling it due to being told she had Stage 4 Stomach Cancer. We waited, and she continued her treatments. We got great news in May that the cancer was almost gone. So we decided to start trying again. We found a new donor which made us feel more comfortable in June. We then tried again in July and it took. My suggestion is make your partner give you a big O before, then inseminate and again after.  Don't give up, it will happen!

Did you face any obstacles: Required a Sperm Donor
How long were you trying before Mosie: 6 months or less
How many cycles did you use Mosie: 4

A&K, Goosebumps over here. What an amazing journey you’ve been on. We’re thrilled to know that you were finally able to get your positive and equally important that your wife’s cancer is improving! Big e-hugs to you all. Thank you both for not only sharing this remarkable journey...which will no doubt make a difference in the paths of others, but also for your advice around the big O! We might have to add it to our manual...couldn’t hurt after all! 😉 Wishing you both a safe and healthy term and new addition! - Marc + Maureen
