Male Factor Sterility from Past Leukemia Led Them to Family Donor and Mosie

Our story goes way back. My husband and I got married in July 2013 and instantly started trying to start a family! We tried for 3 years with no luck. We both then went to the doctors to get checked. My tubes were normal and perfect, but unfortunately my husband was diagnosed as sterile. This was a result from him having Leukemia when he was 14 years old. They never gave him the option to freeze his sperm. So with that we took 6 months to decide what to do. We wanted a donor that looked as much like my husband as possible, but we just couldn’t afford the cost of going through a sperm bank. We got very lucky when my husband’s cousin reached out to us and said he was willing to help. My husband and he look like they could be brothers! So with that we ordered the Mosie Kit, and we tried it. With just one cycle we were pregnant. We conceived on Memorial Day weekend! My due date was February 22, 2020. She decided to show up on February 13, 2020 instead, and I could not be happier with how perfect she is! We plan on having another baby in the future and will use Mosie again .

- A & D from NY

A&D, Warmest congratulations on the safe and healthy arrival of your adorable baby girl! We agree...she’s perfect. And what an inspirational story you all have. All of you coming together with a plan to grow your family on your own terms is what this community is all about, and we couldn’t be happier that Mosie was able to help make this dream come true. Most importantly thank you both for sharing your story. We have no doubt it will provide hope to others facing similar obstacles. And we’ll be here when Baby “I” is ready for a sib! - Maureen + Marc
